I am a Music Technology & Audio Systems graduate, having achieved 1st class honours. This course has provided me with skills that crossover to many professions, including introducing me to software development, which immediately became an interest for me - as well as one of my best subjects.
My dissertation blended my interest in programming with my time working in live sound, using MAX/MSP Jitter to investigate different implementations of DMX lighting control. This has given me experience in the life cycle of designing and developing a program myself. Since completing my degree I have continued to expand my skill in programming and have started an apprenticeship in .NET Software Development.
While an apprentice, I have been employed as a Test Analyst, using my programming skills to specialise in automated testing. With the mix of skills from these paths, I believe I am a capable employee who will thrive in the software field.
